We are looking for an organized and creative videographer to work with our creative team to plan, film, and edit video content. The videographer's responsibilities include ensuring that the necessary filming equipment is available for use and editing film footage. To be successful as a videographer you must be able to understand briefs and work creatively to produce the desired product. A good videographer should stay up to date with industry trends and tools that will make projects more marketable. Job Responsibilities Film videos on set or on location. Ensure that equipment for a shoot is present and working. Plan the shoot with the creative team. Edit footage in post-production. Direct other camera operators as applicable so that the needed footage is acquired. Basic Qualifications Proficiency with editing software such as PhotoShop. Proficiency with camera equipment. Must own appropriate video recording equipment. Desired Qualifications Excellent computer literacy. Excellent interpersonal skills. Relative fitness and stamina to work long hours. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail. Job Responsibilities Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials. Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval. Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software. Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary. Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed. Communicating with partners about layout and design. Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and web pages with software such as Photoshop. Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field. A strong eye for visual composition. Able to give and receive constructive criticism. Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design. We are looking for a motivated web designer who will be responsible for updating our www.xanathos.org website and creating great pages for our education initiatives, projects, sponsors, partners and leaders. Primary duties include conceptualizing and implementing creative ideas for the website, as well as creating visual elements that are in line with our and our partners' branding. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent visual design skills and be proficient in Wix/HTML5 and graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. Job Responsibilities Conceptualizing creative ideas with Xanathos board members, sponsors, partners and leaders. Testing and improving the design of the website. Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices. Maintaining the appearance of web pages by enforcing content standards. Designing visual imagery for web pages and ensuring that they are in line with branding for Xanathos. Working with different content management systems. Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes. Incorporating functionalities and features into the website. Designing sample pages including colors and fonts. Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure. Basic Qualifications A relevant degree or certificate in a related field or enrolled in relevant degree or certificate. Excellent visual design skills. Creative and open to new ideas. Excellent communication skills.
